Three lockers at LA Fitness, in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue, were raided by thieves Monday afternoon. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

1600 Sherman

Thieves opened three lockers at the LA Fitness Club in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 4:15  p.m. and 5 p.m.  Monday and got away with a wallet, a bag, and a backpack, including their contents.

900 Chicago

Electronic items were taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy, in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue, between noon and 4 p.m. Monday.

900 Davis

A wallet was removed from a purse at an office in the 900 block of Davis Street between 12:40 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday.

BURGLARY

1100 Monroe

Electronics were reported taken from an unlocked 2014 Volkswagen in the 1100 block of Monroe Street between 6:10 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday.

1000 Davis

Bicycles were stolen from a bike shop in the 1000 block of Davis Street between 10 p.m. Friday and 6:52 a.m. Saturday.

1600 Pitner

A burglar entered an unlocked 2014 Chevrolet in the 1600 block of Pitner Avenue around 9 a.m. Monday.

2000 Grey

A cell phone was stolen from a 2015 Kia in the 2000 block of Grey Avenue between 8:10 a.m. and 8:24 a.m. Monday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1700 Simpson

A window was damaged by a brick at a grocery store in the 1700 block of Simpson Street around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
