Thieves stole a catalytic converter from one vehicle and the wheels from another. These among stories in today’s daily crime report from Evanston police.
THEFT
1400 Dobson
Thieves removed a catalytic converter from a 1998 Cadillac in the 1400 block of Dobson Street between Nov. 1 and 7 a.m. Monday.

100 Clyde
Wheels were removed from a 2010 Toyota in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue between Jan. 1 and midnight Wednesday.

BATTERY
1454 Elmwood
Isabella Mendoza, 23, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 1:17 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY
1100 Foster
The unlocked rear door to a residence in the 1100 block of Foster Street provided entry for a burglar, who stole jewelry between 2 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 15.

TRAFFIC
Emerson at Grey
John E. Ross, 54, of 2320 Greenwood St., was arrested at Emerson Street and Grey Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.
Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
