Evanston Baseball & Softball Association has opened registration for its upcoming 2012 baseball and softball season for players between the ages of 5 and 14.

Families can register online or by mailing in registration forms distributed through schools.

Registration fees through Feb. 29 for Evanston residents are $160.00 for one player and $90.00 each for siblings. After Feb. 29 the fee increases to the non-resident fee of $200 per player.  Scholarships are available. EBSA maintains a policy that every kid plays regardless of ability to pay.

All players receive a full uniform- jersey, pants, socks, and cap.  Players are divided into leagues by age and games are from mid-April to July at parks throughout Evanston.

EBSA is the oldest and one of the largest non-profit youth sports organizations in Evanston and is completely run by volunteers.
