Evanston police suspect the same man could be involved in three recent robberies of taxicab drivers.

Last Thursday shortly after midnight at 1936 Wesley Ave. a man who said he’d called for a cab pulled a gun on the driver, grabbed his money and then fled on foot.

Then Sunday morning at 3 a.m. just a block away at 1936 Jackson Ave., a fare pulled a gun on another cab driver and got his money. And an hour later and a half-mile northwest, at 2305 Brown Ave. a third driver was robbed by a man with a knife.
