Evanston police say three Evanston Township High School students have been referred to juvenile court in connection with Thursday’s lockdown at the school.
Police Cmdr. Ryan Glew says two 16-year-old males face felony charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on school grounds after police found two guns in the building.
And one 16-year-old male faces a misdemeanor cannabis possession charge.
The other five students detained during the incident were released without charges.
