Evanston health officials reported three new COVID-19 cases among city residents today. That brings the total number of cases here to 766. The Evanston death toll from the disease remained unchanged today at 66.

Chicago reported 155 more cases today for a total of 50,277 and 17 more deaths for a total of 2,481.

Across Illinois there were 692 more cases for a total of 135,470 and 52 more deaths for a total of 6,580

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported testing 96 more Evanston residents, for a positive test rate today of 3.1%.

Across the state results of 27,171 COVID-19 tests were reported with a positive rate for the day of 2.6% — roughly the same as the 7-day average.

All four regions of the state remain on track to move to the next phase of the Restore Illinois plan on June 26.
