Burglars found a treasure trove of tools and electronic devices in unlocked cars around town. These are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

1900 Brummel

An unlocked 2014 Buick was accessed in the 1900 block of Brummel Street between 6 p.m. Monday and 9:45 a.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported taken.

1300 Oakton

A desktop computer and power and hand tools were taken from an unlocked 2018 Tesla in the 1300 block of Oakton Street between 11 p.m. Sunday and 10 p.m. yesterday.

A video recording device was stolen from an unlocked 2011 Toyota in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Oakton Street between 10 p.m. Sunday and 10 p.m. yesterday.

Battery

1454 Elmwood

Mickey Lee Kissel, 21, address unknown, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 1:11 a.m. today and charged with aggravated battery.

Shane F. Riefke, 18, of 3118 Central St., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 11:45 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.

Graffiti

800 Howard

Graffiti was discovered at a dry cleaners in the 800 block of Howard Street at 8:51 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

900 Church

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a store in the 900 block of Church Street around 5 p.m. yesterday.

Kedzie at Sheridan

A bicycle secured to a bike rack was stolen near Kedzie Street and Sheridan Road between 1 a.m. on July 13 and 4:40 p.m. yesterday.

3300 Central

A laptop computer was removed from a room of a condominium in the 3300 block of  Central Street between June 1 and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

2600 Sheridan

A Trek bicycle that was locked to a bike rack in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road was stolen around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Traffic

900 Ridge

Tenisha S. Ross, 32, of 631 E. Gundersen Drive, Carol Stream, was arrested in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue at 6:52 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

639 Asbury

Eric A. Guedes, 22, of 5124 Georgie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 639 Asbury Ave. at 12:37 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 9 at 1:30 p.m.

7700 Sheridan

Titus Nelson Haynes, 36, of 7704 Enfield Ave., Norfolk, Va., was arrested at 7700 N. Sheridan Road at 3:50 p.m. yesterday and was charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 20 at 1:30 p.m.

700 Ridge

George J. Karchmer, 53, of 860 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 700 Ridge Ave. at 7:18 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.  Nissan was stolen from the 300 block of Ridge Avenue
