2800 Central

Hand and power tools were taken from a 2007 GMC in the 2800 block of Central Street after a forced entry into the vehicle between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday.


4917 Kenmore

David Rennie, 71, of 4917 Kenmore Ave., Chicago, was arrested at that address at 12:21 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on March 22 at 1:30 p.m.


800 Chicago

A wallet was removed from a purse at a restaurant in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:30 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Lemar

Cash was taken while unsecured at a home in the 1800 block of Lemar Avenue between noon Sunday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Dodge

Vehicle parts were removed from a 2008 Honda while parked in the driveway of a home in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 10:12 p.m. yesterday.

400 Callan

A package of miscellaneous merchandise delivered to a home in the 400 block of Callan Avenue was stolen between 2:42 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday.

1640 Chicago

Bridget Victoria Pei, 21, of 961 Sunnyhill Place, Diamond Bar, Calif., was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 5:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on April 12 at 9 a.m.


Dempster at McDaniel

Shelby J, Obleton, 30, of 1001 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan, was arrested at Dempster Street  and McDaniel Avenue at 3:58 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Clark at Ridge

Lamont L. Vaughn, 31, of 1706 W. Jonquil Terrace, Chicago, was arrested at Clark Street and Ridge Avenue at 6:01 p.m. on Feb. 27 and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 14 at 10:30 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
