Burglary                                      

300 Sherman

A burglar entered an unlocked garage of a home in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue between 5 a.m. and 7:14 a.m. yesterday. Items taken included power and hand tools.

400 Custer

Nothing was taken in the forced entry of a garage in the 400 block of Custer Avenue between 5 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

1800 Maple

Graffiti was discovered at the city parking garage in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue at 9:18 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

1100 Chicago

Shoplifters were caught taking merchandise from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 5:40 a.m. and again at 10:30 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Alcoholic products were taken from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Sheridan

A bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road was taken between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

1128 Chicago

Camron Hollmon, 27, of 1818 Maple Ave., was arrested at the Jewel-Osco grocery store at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 11:17 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Sept. 28 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1201 Davis

Kindall Devon Bates, 27, of 814 Helmholz Ave., Waukegan, was arrested at 1201 Davis St. at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m.

7662 Sheridan

Sylvester Carrizales, 38, of 2326 S.Sacramento Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7662 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, at 2:59 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

300 South Boulevard

Marcin Panek, 43, of 7314 N. Greenview Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 300 South Boulevard at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday and charged with driving under the influence.

433 Asbury

Kijuan D. Sutton, 30, of 132 Ridge Ave., was arrested at 433 Asbury Ave. at 6:46 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Sept. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
