Burglars took power and hand tools from a garage in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.
2300 Oakton
Power and hand tools were stolen from an unlocked 1999 Ford in a business parking lot in the 2300 block of Oakton Street between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.
1200 Dewey
A tablet computer was taken from an unlocked 2014 Toyota in the 1200 block of Dewey Avenue between 12:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. yesterday.
2300 Hartzell
Cash was taken from an unlocked Toyota in the 2300 block of Hartzell Street between 4:12 a.m. and 6:57 p.m. yesterday.
2600 Eastwood
A wallet was stolen from an unlocked 2016 Ford in an alley in the 2600 block of Eastwood Avenue between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
1200 Harvard
A wallet was taken from a 2007 Acura in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace between 8:30 a.m. and noon Thursday.

1837 Hovland
Titanna J. Brackett, 19, of 1823 Hovland Court, was arrested at 1837 Hovland Court at 2:44 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. She is due in court on Nov. 15 at 9 a.m.

A 2008 Toyota was dented in an alley in the 1800 block of Brummel Street between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8:40 a.m. Friday.
1900 Keeney
Someone scratched a 2005 Toyota in the 1900 block of Keeney Street between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 and 8 a.m. the following day.
2200 Howard
A 2007 Honda was dented in a business parking lot in the 2200 block of Howard Street between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
800 Judson
Someone broke a window of a 2005 Infiniti in a parking lot in the 800 block of Judson Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

Kory Kavalier Booker, 31, of 6828 N. Oakley Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at Sherman Avenue and Lee Street at 12:57 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Someone painted graffiti on the garage of a home in the 300 block of Darrow Avenue between 2 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

Brandon LeShaun Closure, 25, of 6454 N. Wayne Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 1:30 p.m. Friday and charged with public indecency. He is due in court on Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m.
Shots Heard

Gunshots were reported in the 300 block of Florence Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Electronics items were stolen from a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street between 4:55 p.m. and 5:05 p.m. Wednesday.
500 Asbury
Cash was removed from a victim’s wallet at a nursing home in the 500 block of Asbury Avenue between 7 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. Saturday.
1800 Dodge
License plates were removed from a 2002 Ford in the 1800 block of Dodge Avenue around 11:31 a.m. Saturday.
2485 Howard
Kenneth E. Clinton, 58, of 2750 W. Roosevelt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 8:38 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Nov. 7 at 9 a.m.
Vanessa May Tiu, 38, of 4838 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 11:32 a.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Nov. 20 at 9 a.m.

Reus Montego James, 21, of 148 S. Ninth Ave., Maywood, was arrested at 3330 Central St. at 2:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for Nov. 2 at 9 a.m.
1400 Oakton
Keyaria Charnia Sherri Moore, 20, of 1703 Madison St., was arrested at 1400 Oakton St. at 3:56 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Dec. 8 at 9 a.m.
440 Dodge
Esmeralda Zuniga, 27, of 514 Florence Ave., was arrested at 440 Dodge Ave. at 2:49 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
