An employee of North Shore Towing is being treated in the emergency room at Evanston Hospital at this hour after suffering burns when a car caught fire at the tow yard on Oakton Street about 9:40 this morning.

Fire officials say they were able to quickly extingush the fire. They called an ambulance for the injured worker, but he instead was driven to the hospital by coworkers.

No further word yet on the injured worker’s condition.
