The Evanston Police Department’s third town hall meeting will cover social media. So where can you watch it? On Facebook.

Of course, you can still attend in person. It will be held in Room G300 of the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center at 2100 Ridge Ave. this Thursday evening, beginning at 7 p.m.

But it will be broadcast live on the department’s Facebook page.

In addition to social media, the session will also include a discussion of crime prevention and community policing.

Each meeting covers police polices, procedures, and protocols related to the topic of discussion. The first meeting focused on cultural awareness and community policing. The second focused on gangs and drugs and unsolved homicides.
