THEFT

700 Florence
A black 2020 Toyota Corolla was stolen as it was being transported in the 700 block of Florence Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday.

2700 Central Park
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2010 Toyota in the 2700 block of Central Park Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

1700 Maple
Merchandise was taken from an art supply store in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday.

BURGLARY

821 Sherman
Gerald Carl Richardson, 39, of 5547 N. Kenmore Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 821 Sherman Ave. at 10:45 a.m. Thursday and charged with residential burglary.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1500 Chicago
A room was damaged at the Hyatt House in the 1500 block of Chicago Avenue between midnight and 10 a.m. Thursday.

1300 Sherman
A restroom was damaged at the Chicago Transit Authority station in the 1300 block of Sherman Place at 12:22 p.m. Thursday.

TRAFFIC

2101 Oakton
Miguel G. Garcia, 43, of 1038 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 2101 Oakton St. at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation.
