Motorists might want to schedule some extra time for driving on Chicago Avenue in Evanston next week, due to some road work.

Crews will be restoring asphalt on the road between Howard Street and Juneway Terrace from Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the city.

Signage will be erected to assist drivers and pedestrians during working hours, the release promised.
