A burglary in the 2100 block of Ewing Avenue yielded a haul that included two television sets and jewelry among the items taken. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1724 Lyons

Latoya Shalon Marshall, 37, of 2005 Foster St., was arrested at 1724 Lyons St. at 3:15 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. She is due in court on July 31 at 9 a.m.

Burglary

1000 Dewey

Office equipment was taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Dewey Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. yesterday.

2100 Ewing

A Wisconsin family that owns a home under renovation in the 2100 block of Ewing Avenue returned to Evanston after a trip, from Friday to Tuesday, to find that burglars had taken two television sets, electronics, and jewelry valued at about $20,000.

2200 Ridge

A Schwinn bicycle was stolen from an apartment storage area in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between 4:10 p.m.  Monday and 8:45 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Green Bay

Tools were missing from an unlocked 2013 Ford that was burglarized between 9:50 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. yesterday in the 1900 block of Green Bay Road.

Criminal Damage

Davis at Ridge

Someone damaged the rear window of a 2007 Acura near Davis Street and Ridge Avenue between midnight and 8 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
