Two men were charged with retail theft in separate incidents on Thursday. Those stories top today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

1618 Benson

Raymond J. Holleb, 37, of 8152 Knox in Skokie was arrested at 1618 Benson Ave., the Davis Street CTA station, at 7:40 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft. He’s due in court at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 13.

2900 W. Howard

Bernard Sanders, 52, of 1600 Jonquil in Chicago, was arrested at 2900 W. Howard St. at 3:17 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft.

101 Asbury

Someone stole items from the CVS drug store at 101 Asbury Ave. at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Burglary

1800 Howard

Someone broke a window at a restaurant in the 1800 block of Howard Street at 1:58 a.m. Thursday and stole cash and an iPad.

1000 Davis

Someone forced entry to a restaurant in the 1000 block of davis Street between 10:15 p.m. Wednesday and 11:15 a.m. Thursday and stole cash, a cash register and three tablet computers.

2200 Ewing

Someone opened the unlocked door of a garage in the 2200 block of Ewing Avenue between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday and stole a yellow Specialized stump jumper bicycle.

800 Foster

Someone opened the unlocked door of a 2014 Toyota parked in an alley in the 800 block of Foster Street between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday and stole keys from the car.

Traffic

1741 Sherman

Korn Thongfueng, 37, of 4917 N. Estes in Chicago was arrested at 1741 Sherman Ave. at 5:12 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He’s due in court at 9 a.m. on Sept. 29.
