Two members of the Evanston girls bowling team kept their seasons alive Saturday at the Conant Regional tournament.

ETHS junior Ari Dortch fired a 1021 series and senior Jazmine Aron tallied a 1002 series to earn automatic qualifying berths for next Saturday’s Leyden Sectional tournament.

Both Wildkits scored in the top 10 among individuals who weren’t members of qualifying teams to claim sectional spots.

As a team, Evanston placed 8th in the field with a pinfall of 4633. Elk Grove Village won the regional title with a score of 5695.

At the sectional, top five individual scorers who aren’t members of state qualifying teams will advance to the Illinois High School Association state finals.
