Two candidates filed nominating petitions Tuesday as the filing period opened to fill three seats on the Evanston Township High School board in next April’s election.

The Cook County Clerk’s office reports that it received petitons from incumbent Monique Parsons and newcomer Stephanie Teterycz.

Parsons, first elected to the board in 2015, is the President/CEO of the McGaw YMCA.

Teterycz is director of faculty support at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Other candidates, including incumbents Mark Metz and Jonathan Baum, whose terms expire next year, will have until next Monday, Dec. 17, to file petitions to get on the ballot.
