The front seat passenger, a 24-year-old Skokie woman, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. She was transported to Evanston Hospital. She’s in stable  condition and is expected to recover from her injuries.

The driver of the car, a 33-year-old male whose home town is unknown, suffered a minor wound to his right shoulder. He was treated on scene by paramedics and released.

Glew says a third occupant of the Audi has not yet been located.

A second shooting took place in the 2000 block of Jackson Avenue at 9:03 p.m. Saturday Police received calls of a fight in the street and shots were fired before officers arrived. Officers located three shell casings in the street but did not find any victims or offenders.
