Evanston health officials reported two more COVID-19 cases among city residents today raising the case count for the pandemic to 785.

The city’s pandemic death toll remained unchanged today at 69.

Chicago reported 200 new cases for a total of 52,150 and 11 more deaths for a total of 2,593.

Across Illinois there were 738 new cases raising the total to 142,461 and 14 additional deaths for a total of 6,902.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported test results for 26,918 people today with a positive rate of 2.7%, roughly the same as the seven day average positive rate.

The IDPH reported results for 138 Evanston residents and said it found only one positive case for a positive rate of 0.7%
