The weather forecast says Evanston is likely to get two to four inches of snow today.

The snowfall is expectedto start around 2 p.m. and last until as late as 9 p.m.

Edgar Cano of the city’s Public Works Agency says day crews will keep working until 8 p.m. tonight, and then the night crew will be in to finish the storm and perform clean up.

Interfaith Action of Evanston will open an overnight warming shelter at First Congregational Church, 1445 Hinman Ave., starting at 9 p.m. tonight.
