Shots fired

Callan and Mulford
Someone reported shots fired in the area of Callan Avenue and Mulford Street at about 1 a.m. Thursday morning. The area was checked but nothing was found.

Theft

Sherman Avenue at Davis Street
An unsecured bicycle was taken from the sidewalk at Sherman Avenue and Davis Street between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday.

1500 Wilder
An unsecured bicycle was taken from the yard of a single family home in the 1500 block of Wilder Street between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

Trespass

1700 Orrington
Ryan O. Bailey, 35, homeless in Evanston, was arrested and charged with trespass-real property at the main branch of the Evanston Public Library at 5:55 p.m. Thursday and is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 22.

Violation of city noise ordinance

1200 Fowler
Adrian A. Renteria, 33, 614 Callan Ave., was arrested and charged with violating the city noise ordinance by yelling at 1233 Fowler Ave. at 3:38 a.m. this morning and is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 17.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
