1800 Lemar

A cell phone was reported taken while unattended at a home in the 1800 block of Lemar Avenue between 11:40 a.m. and 4:47 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Lake

Clothing valued at $700 was taken from an apartment in the 1800 block of Lake Street around 3:32 p.m. yesterday.

1616 Sherman

Bishwarupa Dasgupta, 20, of 1630 Chicago Ave., was arrested at the Target store at 1616 Sherman Ave. at 12:25 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Aug. 12 at 9 a.m.


2650 Ridge

Leonardo Gomez Garcia, 18, of 835 Seward St., was arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave.at 5:35 p.m. on July 9 and charged with a violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Sept. 17 at 9:30 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
