355 Ridge

A purse that was left unattended at Presence St. Francis Hospital was stolen around 9:45 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Someone left a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue with stereo equipment that was not paid for around 2 pm. Monday.

Drugs

Asbury at Greenleaf

Daniel Santamaria, 21, of 6453 N. Maplewood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Asbury Avenue and Greenleaf  Street at 1:45 a.m. today and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Traffic

1800 Howard

Marc J. Saint-Cyr, 23, of 2353 W. Birchwood, Chicago, was arrested at 1800 Howard St. at 4:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Dodge at Washington

Joseph L. Wojciechowski, 47, of 6117 N. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Washington Street at 2:04 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on April 23 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
