A burglar took advantage of an unlocked window to enter a home in the 700 block of Forest Avenue between 2 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Items taken included two computers, an iPad, a purse, and keys.
Criminal Damage
2000 Darrow
A television set was damaged at an apartment in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. yesterday.
Drugs
101 Asbury
Terrence D. Wolfe, 34, of 11001 S. Wentworth, Chicago, was arrested at 101 Asbury Ave. at 1:11 a.m. Sunday and charged with a drug violation. He is due in court on Oct. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
Shots Heard
2100 Darrow
Gunshots were reported in the 2100 block of Darrow Avenue between 8:12 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
1700 Darrow
An Illinois vehicle sticker was removed from a 2007 Honda in the 1700 block of Darrow Avenue around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Traffic
1100 Lake Shore
Christos Konstanteios, 40, of 3708 N. Oriole, Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Lake Shore Blvd. at 5:15 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 31 at 9 a.m.
