Update 9:51 a.m. 3/9/11: The League of Women Voters of Evanston now says the information the group provided about holding a voter registration session at the library Saturday, March 12, is in error. The deadline for registering for the April 5 election was Tuesday, March 8. So the session has been cancelled.

The League of Women Voters of Evanston will offer voter registration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.

To register, you must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years old on or before election day. You will need to present two forms of ID, one of which has your current address. This can be a driver’s license, state ID, utility bill, or check book. If you have moved since the last time you voted, you need to re-register. For more information, visit www.lwve.org.
