Voter registration for April’s municipal election closes on Tuesday, March 10.

In addition to its normal weekday schedule, the Evanston City Clerk’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, Feb. 28, and on Saturday, March 7 to register voters.

Voters must re-register if they have changed their name or have moved.

Two forms of identification are required to register, one of which must show name and current address. A bank statement, utility bill, apartment lease, driver’s license or personal check may serve as proper identification.

Persons who are at least 18 years old, a U.S citizen and a resident of their precinct for at least 30 days may register to vote.
