Robyn Gabel supporter Sue Gamm looks over the still-empty precinct results sheet at Lupita’s restaurant on Main Street this evening.

Supporters of candidates in the Democratic primary for the 18th District state house seat are gathering this evening to wait for election results.

Voter turnout reportedly was relatively light today, and with some new election procedures, it wasn’t clear how quickly tonight’s results may be available.

Shortly before 8 p;m., with 10 of 82 precincts reporting the County Clerk’s office reported Eamon Kelly leading with 31 percent of the vote, Robyn Gabel a close second with 30 percent and Patrick Keenan-Devilin third with 23 percent.

Jeff Smith had 8 percent and Edmund Moran had 7 percent.
