Wallet is stolen from Honda in alley on Dodge

A wallet and some clothing were stolen out of an unlocked 2000 Honda parked in an alley in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

1000 Dodge

A wallet and clothing were stolen out of a 2000 Honda parked in an alley in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue around 8 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1454 Elmwood

Jacky Pierre, 46, of 8411 Christiana, Skokie, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 2:03 p.m. yesterday and charged with endangering the life and health of a child. She is due in court on April 21 at 1:30 p.m.

Theft

1600 Washington

A package delivered to an apartment/condo common area in the 1600 block of Washington Street was stolen between March 1 and March 10.

300 Dodge

A black puffy jacket left unattended at the Levy Senior Center in the 300 block of Dodge Avenue was stolen around 6:45 p.m. yesterday.

2301 Oakton

Adam Allan Avizius, 30, of 4146 Arthur Ave., Brookfield, was arrested at 2301 Oakton St. at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on April 7 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

700 Howard

Aisha A. Jenkins-Barton, 39, of 9996 Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 700 Howard St. at 8:58 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for April 21 at 10:30 a.m.

1300 Dodge

Martha T. Petty, 48, of 140 Callan Ave., was arrested at 1300 Dodge Ave. at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for April 21 at 10:30 a.m.

7700 Sheridan

Ryan J. Straz, 27, of 1255 N. Sandburg Terrace, Chicago, was arrested at 7700 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, at 9:08 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for May 20 at 1:30 p.m.

500 Chicago

Juan Carlos Toapanta Ucho, 29, of 5136 W. Oakdale Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 500 Chicago Ave. at 5:28 p.m. March 18 and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for April 21 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
