Battery

1818 Laurel

Anthony D. Jackson, 34, of 1818 Laurel Ave., was arrested at that address at 9:32 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on July 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Davis at Forest

Moises Morales, 34, of 7530 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Davis Street and Forest Avenue at 9:45 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery.

Burglary

2400 Crawford

Burglars forced entry to a home in the 2400 block of Crawford Avenue between June 26 and 9:15 p.m. yesterday.

300 Ridge

Burglars broke a window to gain access to a vehicle in a business parking lot and stole cash between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Criminal Damage

1700 Sherman

Someone shattered a window of a 2012 Kia in a business parking lot in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Criminal Trespass

1800 Lemar

A 2005 Dodge was taken by a known offender from the garage of a home in the 1800 block of Lemar Avenue around 9:28 p.m. Monday.

7234 Hamilton

Michael Edwin Johnson, 20, of 1619 Thelin Court, was arrested at 7234 Hamilton St. at 5:51 p.m. Monday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Theft

1000 Grove

Someone stole a wallet at the McGaw YMCA around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

1700 Benson

Someone removed a wallet from a purse at the Evanston Athletic Club around 9 a.m. Monday.

2200 Ridge

A bicycle was stolen from an apartment common area in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between June 19 and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Orrington

A bicycle locked to a bike rack was stolen in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue at 6:46 p.m. Monday.

2450 Main

Darben E. Duarte, 44, of 6656 N. Newgard Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 4:50 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Aug. 7. At 9 a.m.

Traffic

400 Asbury

Courtney J. Chatman, 38, of 1303 W. Pratt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 400 Asbury Ave. at 7:51 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m.

300 Ridge

Raul Espinoza de Paz, 21, of 1338 W. Hollywood Ave., was arrested at 300 Ridge Ave. at 8:47 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m.

McCormick at Dempster

Saif S. Mahdi, 21, of 8215 Keating Ave., Skokie, was arrested at McCormick Boulevard and Dempster Street at 8:54 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
