Dodge at Main

A man pointed a gun at a victim near Dodge Avenue and Main Street at 1:46 a.m. today.


2600 Ridge

A victim was shot in the wrist in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue at 11:23 p.m. yesterday.

400 Main

Matthew P. Wilczenski, 42, of 400 Main St., was arrested at that address at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m.



1800 Mulford

A weed wacker and a lawn mower were taken in the burglary of a storage shed in the 1800 block of Mulford Street between 11 a.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

1800 Washington

A motor vehicle that was unlocked in an alley in the 1800 block of Washington Street was entered between 6:15 a.m. and 6:24 a.m. yesterday.

2700 Noyes

Burglars damaged the rear door as they entered a home in the 2700 block of Noyes Street around 7:53 p.m. yesterday.

1400 Central

Two glass windows were damaged at a business establishment in the 1400 block of Central Street around 1:29 a.m. today

100 Clyde

Someone scratched the front passenger side of a 2002 Mercedes-Benz in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Monday.


500 Asbury

Panagiotis C. Alexopoulos, 22, of 5227 N. Oakview, Chicago, was arrested at 500 Asbury Ave. at 7:36 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m.


200 Custer

Graffiti was found on railroad property in the 200 block of Custer Avenue at 8:57 a.m. yesterday.

Shots Heard

Lake at Pitner

Gunshots were reported near Lake Street and Pitner Avenue at 11:22 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.


600 Hinman

Two bicycles were stolen from an apartment/condo common area in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. yesterday.

100 Asbury

Two incidents of theft were reported at the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue between 11:10 p.m. and midnight yesterday. Cosmetics and laundry detergent were taken. Suspect is a 5-foot-3-inch-tall black female weighing 140 pounds.

2485 Howard

Farozie T. Fisher, 54, of 123 Clyde Ave., was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 5:55 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Oct. 24 at 9 a.m.


Dewey at South Boulevard

Lucina Balbuena, 42, of 444 Custer Ave., was arrested at Dewey Avenue and South Boulevard at 9:13 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m.

    Central and Eastwood.  Two big windows. Odds are related to the windows in 1400 block of Central.
