West side loft plan on council’s agenda Monday

Architect Stephen Yas’s plan to turn an abandoned factory building at 2100 Greenwood St. into 26 loft-style live-work condominiums goes before the Evanston City Council’s Planning and Development Committee on Monday.

The Plan Commission unanimously approved the project Dec. 14 after first hearing about the proposal a week earlier. Renderings of the project design are online.

The project is also the subject of a story in today’s Daily Northwestern.
