A Jeep was one of three vehicles damage around noon today when high winds caused a tree to fall in the 2600 block of Poplar Avenue in Evanston.

The area, in the block north of Central Street, is a popular parking spot for Metra commuters.

Evanston forestry crews were called to the scene to cut up the downed tree limbs, and a truck from North Shore Towing was on scene to take away the damaged Jeep.
