A 59-year-old woman told police she was robbed Tuesday at Emerson Street and Sheridan Road, by the campus of Northwestern University. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1454 Elmwood

Daniel A. Sanchez, 21, of 8643 Trumbull Ave., Skokie, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8:57 p.m. Monday and charged with battery. He is due in court on May 17 at 10:30 a.m.

1507 Emerson

Seth A. Young, 27, of 1507 Emerson St., was arrested at that address at 12:53 a.m. today and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 10 at 9:30 a.m.

Robbery

600 Emerson

A 59-year-old woman told police she was struck from behind in the 600 block of Emerson Street, adjacent to the Northwestern University campus, by someone who took her debit card at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Traffic

McCormick at Dempster

Christin D. L. Skaggs, 24, of 1941 Darrow Ave., was arrested at McCormick Boulevard and Dempster Street at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 1 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
