Evanston police say they raided an apartment on Darrow Avenue Wednesday evening and arrested a woman on drug charges.

Police Commander Tom Guenther says the raid about 8:20 p.m. was based on a continuing investigation by the Neighborhood Enforcement Team into narcotics sales throughout the city and that the search of the building turned up crack cocaine and ammunition for several guns.

A resident of the apartment at 1812 Darrow Ave. #1N, Shawnese Rochelle Jones, 29, has been charged with felony charges of  drug possession and possession with intent to deliver.

She’s scheduled to appear April 13 in district court in Skokie.
