An Evanston woman is facing drug charges after police say they found crack cocaine in her home.

Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther says the department’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team, assisted by the Skokie police canine unit, executed a search warrant at 7:21 a.m. Friday morning at 2026 Green Bay Road.

Officers say no one responded to their efforts to make contact with occupants of the building, but when they broke in they found seven people inside.

When police searched the building, Guenther says, they found 16 individually wrapped rocks of suspected crack cocaine and two digital scales.

They arrested Tatum O’Neal Logan, 22, who lived at the address, and charged her with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.

She’s due in Skokie district court at 9 a.m. on Nov. 9.
