A woman’s purse was reportedly ripped from her arm when three unknown persons approached her from behind at Dodge Avenue and Lake Street. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Dodge at Lake
A 20-year-old woman reported that she was approached from behind by three unknown persons at about 10:15 p.m. Friday at Dodge Avenue and Lake Street, near the Evanston Township High School. One of the subjects ripped a purse, containing a recently purchased prescription, from her arm, she told police.
BURGLARY
500 Sheridan
A pry tool was used to force entry to a common area in the 500 block of Sheridan Road between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday. Several packages were taken.
1300 Oak
Clothing and sports equipment were taken from a storage unit in the 1300 block of Oak Street between Aug. 1 and 3 p.m. Friday.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
300 Custer
Someone broke a kitchen window of a home in the 300 block of Custer Avenue around 3:30 a.m. yesterday.
OTHER
132 Elmwood
Nickoya Shelika Currie, 26, of 7251 N. Campbell Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 132 Elmwood Ave. at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and charged with violation of an order of protection.
THEFT
500 Sheridan
A black Trek bicycle, secured to a light pole in the 500 block of Sheridan Square, was stolen between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
600 Chicago
Miscellaneous items were stolen from Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 1:17 p.m. Friday.
600 Davis
A cell phone was stolen at the Whiskey Thief restaurant in the 600 block of Davis Street around 2 a.m. Saturday.
800 Davis
A beverage was stolen from a convenience store in the 800 block of Davis Street at about 4 p.m. Saturday.
1600 Dodge
Three secured bicycles were stolen from Evanston Township High School between Wednesday and Saturday.
3600 Central
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2006 Toyota in the 3600 block of Central Street between 8:45 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Thursday.
1700 Hinman
A Versa Felt bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 1700 block of Hinman Avenue between 8:10 p.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
800 Emerson
A secured scooter was taken from a bike rack in the 800 block of Emerson Street between 5 p.m. Thursday and 12:03 a.m. Friday.
824 Dobson
Someone gained entry to a common area of a building in the 800 block of Dobson Street between June 6 and 12:03 p.m. Thursday and stole packages.
TRAFFIC
1128 Chicago
Tyrone J. Alexander, 27, of 19311 82nd Place, Lansing, was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 7:10 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
355 Ridge
Aligheri Guerra, 30, of 4734 W. Parker Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 5:03 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence.
Simpson at Crawford
Isaiah J. West, 22, of 3519 Church St., Skokie, was arrested at Simpson Street and Crawford Avenue at 9:55 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.
