Evanston History Center Director Eden Juron Pearlman with Illinois Association of Museums President David Becker and Evanston Women’s History Project Director Lori Osborne.

Lori Osborne, director of the Evanston Women’s History Project, says “we are so pleased that the women’s history exhibit has received this award. The award was presented at the museum association’s annual meeting in Naperville on Friday.

The women’s history project is a collaborative community effort supported by partnering organizations and individual donors to the Evanston Community Foundation’s Fund for Women and Girls.

Project Partners include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Delta Chi Omega Chapter, the Evanston Community Foundation, the Evanston History Center, the Evanston Public Library, the Frances Willard Historical Association, the League of Women Voters, Northwestern University, Shorefront, the Woman’s Club of Evanston, the McGaw YMCA and the YWCA Evanston/North Shore.
