Working from a list of more than 100 ideas for improving the lakefront developed in two earler meetings of smaller focus groups the group last night was split into five teams to consider topics including the natural environment, accessiblity, facilities, programs and administration.
Staying focused was sometimes tough.
The consulting firm hired to lead the Lakefront Visioning Process is scheduled to hold another focus group meeting Jan. 23 to try to pull together all the recommendations and then develop a report that will serve as the basis for developing a master plan to guide lakefront development over the next decade or more.
