More snow is expected beginning overnight and ending by mid-day Thursday. Moderate snow is expected to be falling in Evanston during the Thursday morning rush hour.

James Maiworm of the city’s Public Works AGency says best estimates now are that we’ll get an inch or two of snow. Light snow should begin falling after 11 p.m. and increase in intensity around 4 a.m.

The majority of the snow is expected between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday.

Temperatures will rise overnight to a high of 34 degrees around 2 p.m. Thursday

Maiworm says Public Works applied anti-icing materials to the main roads today ahead of the storm, and additional staff has been added to the overnight crew to assist in managing snow removal.
