Local artists, crafters and makers ages 13 to 21 are invited to participate in Evanston’s second annual GOALed Gallery program to sell their work, network with other artists, and learn about entrepreneurship during the 42nd annual Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival.

Organizers boast that it’s one of the longest-running juried art fairs on the North Shore.

Participants in the program will be provided with a tented display area in a 10×10 booth. There is no fee to participate and no commission will be charged for sold items. However, participants will be responsible for setting up and tearing down their booth each day of the festival.

Interested artists must apply no later than this Saturday by emailing their name, contact information and a photo of their work. Applications can also be mailed to GOALed Gallery, City of Evanston Cultural Arts Programs, Room 1116, Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave, Evanston, IL 60201.

The Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival will be held on August 2-3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Centennial Park, located on Sheridan Road at Clark Street. Admission to the festival is free.
