Evanston residents who love to complain about the cable company may get a bit of perverse pleasure from this photo captured by an alert Evanston Now reader this morning.

A Comcast repair truck — immobilized near the intersection of Dewey Avenue and Monroe Street with a Denver boot — presumably for unpaid parking tickets.

    My guess is that the city booted this guy because he is parking a commercial vehicle on the street…. Its about time… He’s been doing it for years. If i were Comcast, I’d want that rust bucket off the street… not the best representation of a Brand!

      I hope that people realize that this is not the reason that Comcast has had the worst customer service track record of any other company in the country, for 3 years running.
