Evanston Now seeks your tax-deductible contribution to expand our coverage of equity issues in our community.
Through The Equity Project we plan to provide more in-depth coverage of affordable housing along with a range of other topics that impact efforts to make Evanston a more equitable community — from redlining to reparations and how the city and schools allocate their resources.
We’re stretched to the limit providing the existing coverage of these and other issues that you’ve come to rely on. We need your support to be able to explore these important issues in more depth to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what the unanticipated consequences of well-intended efforts may be.
If we meet our fundraising goal, we’ll be able to add about 20 hours of reporting effort each week next year on these important topics. I hope you’ll make a donation today.
