Community members are invited to a free networking-type dinner at Evanston Township High School, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Evanston and the Moran Center for Youth Advocacy.

The event, to be held May 8 from 6 to 8 p.m., is part of the Chicago Community Trust’s “On the Table” initiative, which encourages civic-minded conversations over dinner with neighbors from different backgrounds and points of view.

Sponsoring partners include Evanston Cradle to Career and Dear Evanston, as well as media support from WCGO-1590 AM.

The objective is to promote collaboration among citizens in an effort to help the community be all that it can be.

There is no charge for the dinner, but you must register in advance and seating is limited. Registration deadline is May 1. Donations will be accepted at the door. The buffet dinner will include lemon chicken, hummus, salad, dessert, and drinks.
