New chief operating officer at Presbyterian Homes

Evanston-based Presbyterian Homes, owner-operator of three continuing care retirement communities in the north and northwest suburbs, has announced the promotion of Nadim Abi-Antoun to chief operating officer.

Abi-Antoun had previously been vice-president of information technology at Presbyterian Homes where he led technology strategic planning and system-wide implementation of technology solutions and electronic medical records. He also worked closely with the operational units to introduce innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.

Before joining Presbyterian Homes in 2011, Abi-Antoun was senior director of information technology at CJE Senior Life where he held a leadership role to align business goals with technology solutions. Among his accomplishments at CJE were implementing enterprise-wide voice, data, security and disaster recovery solutions along with a new health care clinical management system and financial processes upgrades.

"Nadim brings significant talent to the COO position and is a respected and proven leader on the Presbyterian Homes leadership team," said Todd Swortzel, president and CEO of Presbyterian Homes. "It is a key role that will benefit greatly from his understanding of the business and experience in planning, operations, financial and staff management."

Abi-Antoun holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a bachelor of arts in business administration from American University of Beirut.
