Burglary

1200 Dewey

An unlocked 2010 Hyundai in the 1200 block of Dewey Avenue was entered by burglars between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. yesterday. Cash was discovered missing.

Battery

1823 Church

Floyd Vaughn, 40, of 6627 S. Greenwood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1823 Church St. at 7:20 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Jan. 25 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Trespass

2748 Green Bay

Joel H. Carmickle, 49, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 2748 Green Bay Road at 4 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespassing on real property. He is due in court on Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

Dodge at Howard

Jesus A. Tenorio, 33, of 2002 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Howard Street at 7:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 29 at 9 a.m.

609 Dempster

Darius D. Thomas, 28, of 5231 W. Gladys Ave.,Chicago, was arrested at 609 Dempster St. at 2:29 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
