Demetri R. Hall, 24, of 337 Sherman Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday and charged with electronic communication harrassment. He is due in court on May 30 at 9:30 a.m.

1700 Sherman

A pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue reported that someone placed baskets near the exit in an apparent attempt to steal merchandise, although none was taken.

Dodge at Greenleaf

Maria V. Baba, 32, of 6545 N. Sacramento Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Greenleaf Street at 8:51 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on June 15 at 10:30 a.m.

7700 Sheridan

Daphnee Jacques, 32, of 3848 W. 47th St., Chicago, was arrested at 7700 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, at 9:55 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 22 at 10:30 a.m.

1125 Sherman

Russell E. Marker, 39, of 1822 Hebron Ave., Zion, was arrested at 1125 Sherman Ave. at 12:32 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 15 at 9 a.m.
