Evanston police say two Chicago men were arrested at the Jewel-Osco on Howard Street Thursday and charged with retail theft.

Someone used a garage door opener to enter a garage in the 700 block of Forest Avenue and stole a moped. Police say the scooter was later recovered.

Somebody stole a wallet from a desk in an office building in the 1000 block of Davis Street and food from the CVS on Asbury.

And police report a Skokie man was charged with domestic battery.
