The City Council’s Planning & Development Committee has delayed its review of the proposal to build 41 townhouses on the former Hines Lumber site at 1613 Church St.

The discussion, originally scheduled for tonight, now will take place at the committee’s March 13 meeting.

The reason for the delay is that the court reporter’s transcript of the Plan Commission hearing at which the commission voted on the Church Street Village proposal isn’t ready yet.

Background on the proposal is in this earlier story.
