The Youth Job Center of Evanston and McGaw YMCA are combining forces with Northwestern head football coach Pat Fitzgerald to share with the community ways to motivate youth to reach their full potential.

The Youth Job Center of Evanston and McGaw YMCA are combining forces with Northwestern head football coach Pat Fitzgerald to share with the community ways to motivate youth to reach their full potential.

The event is entitled, “From Moving Chains to Changing Lives: A Conversation with Northwestern Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald.”

This exclusive event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at a private home in Evanston. Cocktails and appetizers will be provided.

“This event brings together two major youth-serving organizations in Evanston and one of the most talked about and respected coaches in NCAA Football, Pat Fitzgerald, “says Kim Hoopingarner, the YJC’s development director.

“Coach Fitz is clearly skilled at motivating young people and developing their potential. The YJC and YMCA are on the ground, right here in Evanston, doing the same thing with youth every day.”

Pat Fitzgerald has completed his fifth season as Northwestern University’s head football coach. He has led the team to many accomplishments including appearances at the 2010 Outback Bowl and 2011 inaugural TicketCity Bowl. Coach Fitz will share his insights on inspiring youth and building strong communities.

Tickets are $50 per person and all proceeds will support the McGaw YMCA and the Youth Job Center of Evanston.
